TweetDeck Review

TweetDeck is a Twitter client that is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It has a sleek User Interface, and one of the best things about it is that it separates tweets from people you follow from Replies. That way, you can view your replies much faster without looking for it in a messy Twitter client(such as Twhirl, Snitter, etc.). TweetDeck also has TwitPic capabilities, so instead of going to their website, you can upload a TwitPic from TweetDeck. It also has a feature called TweetShr...

Yesterday I was looking around a website looking for a good app to instal. I came across WeatherDock, which I now think is one of the best weather apps I've installed on my computer. WeatherDock displays weather information based on xml-feeds supplied by weather.com, displays textual weather information as well as icon-based. Here are some more specs of the app: - Next to the current conditions it contains 10 day forecasts with 2 day-part's weather information - basically you can see the...

HP LaserJet P1006 Printer Review

This year for Christmas I needed a new printer because my old one (an HP Deskjet F380) stopped working. I'm a HUGE fan of HP's printers, but their computers.. no so much. Thankfully, it was also easy to set it up with all my Macs. here's some specs about the printer: - 266MHz processor, 8MB of memory, and speeds of up to 17 pages per minute - the compact design means this printer won't take up valuable space - Easily che...

Defcon IRC network is a IRC network with a main goal of bringing people from all over the world togther to convers in a public setting. What iPocalypse is all about

I'm mostly on WyldRyde WebIRC, but there is also another network I would like to talk about. The network name is iPocalypse, or sometimes known as "iPoc". This is also a technology-related IRC network like WyldRyde, and it talks about all kinds of Technology, including Cell Phones, Macs, Windows Machines, Linux, etc. Its a fun place to stay, and the opers are always welcome to talk to you, that is if you're good and don't troll around the network. Some of my favorite channels in...

Top 5 Things to look for before downloading an iPhone/iPod Touch app

Here is a top 5 list of things you should look for before downloading an iPod Touch/iPhone application from the App Store: #5: The Developer- always check who made the app to see if you know that company. If you've had a bad experience before or know that the company isn't very good, don't download the app #4: Read the reviews on the websites, NOT in the app store. The reviews in the app store are very vague at points, and some of the people just give it 1 star because they thought it woul...

iPod touch – Review

This christmas I got an iPod touch. You think, well, I don't really know what you think but, I love it! The iPod touch has many features that make it what it is. I bought it for about $227, which is not really alot compared to many gifts this christmas. The sleek new design on the iPod touch makes it easy to store and carry around in places. You can either buy a 8gb, 16gb, or a 32gb. Ok, let's get into what it actually gives you. Safari is it's main browser. It's pretty fast in my opinion. Al...
