Stick Fu for the iPhone

Stick Fu is a little game that I like to play in my spare time. It's really simple to play the game. There is merely two objectives. Kill of the intruders that attack you, and then wipe out the boss. What makes this game fun is that you have sound effects of you hear when hitting the intruders. But the main feature in this game that you'll notice, is that you're fighting with stick figures! There is both a Free and Paid version. In the free version, there are only two levels. If you...

PostBox Review

Today Jeff told me about a new mail application in beta called PostBox. PostBox is an open source Mac and windows application that lets you get emails on a desktop application. I've been having issues with apple mail lately(I'm all good now but at the time I was having problems), so I decided to try out PostBox and see how it was. It does have a few features that Mail does not have, but the UI just does not cut it. Some Features: Powerful Message Search - *makes it easy to search for almo...

FIFA ‘10 for the iPhone

A few weeks ago, EA Sports released FIFA '10 for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It is currently $9.99 in the app store and probably one of the best feature games on the iPhone so far. It has over 30 leagues, 570 teams, 12,620 players, and up to 20 licensed tournaments and cup competitions. The controls in this game are very good; It has a directional pad so you can easily move around when playing, and then A and B buttons for passing and shooting for offense, and slide tackle for defense. ...

MenuBall

MenuBall is a very cool app for Mac OSX that lets you track your favorite baseball team and have live scores of that team right in your MenuBar. You can update every second, and within the application it gives you the availability to launch GameDay in your web browser. It also gives you who is pitching for that day, and during the game it gives you the live scores (obviously) of the game and you can choose how often you update. (I recommend every second). This app doesn't take up in your dock, i...

ScreenGrab for the Mac

I've been using GrabUp for over 7 months. However, ever since Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard came out, I had no screenshot app to use. For some odd reason GrabUp no longer works on 10.6, and at that time I didn't have a screenshot app to use, so I had to use TinyPic for the time being. It got so frustrating, I couldn't take it anymore, and downgraded to Mac OS 10.5 to use GrabUp. TinyGrab comes along After about 2-3 weeks of bitching and whining about how GrabUp didn't work on 10.6, a develop...
