Last year, I made a MacSlice post on 50 most recommended iPhone apps you should have. Well, that list is well outdated(it was made 10 months ago), so I will make a top 50 list of apps you should have THIS year, in 2009:

(Like last year’s post, the numbers don’t represent an order or best to worst, I just number them to not lose count).

1: TweetDeck (FREE) – a Free Twitter client for the iPhone

2: BeejiveIM: ($9.99) – a great IM client for the iPhone, definitely worth the money.

3: ScoreMobile (FREE) – Good sports app that updates scores automatically

4: iSlime ($0.99) – 5 different slime sports to choose from; fun game.

5: Snail Mail ($1.99) game where a snail has to deliver mail and go through numerous obstacles

6: TapTap Revenge 3 ($0.99) Fun game for the iPhone and iPod touch

7: Tetris ($4.99) Tetris for the iPhone

8: I am T-Pain ($2.99) App where you can sing into the iPhone and sound like T-Pain

9: PapiJump (FREE) fun game in which you jump on blocks and the higher you go the less blocks there are

10: Blowfish (FREE) fun game where the objective is to fill up as much fish as possible by inflating them without getting popped.

11: Paper Toss (FREE) Fun app to play when bored

12: Stickwars ($1.99) fun game where you prevent stick figures from crossing the wall.

13: Pocket God ($0.99) App in which you control 6 people(not people I really don’t know what they’re called) and can do multiple things to them

14: WunderRadio ($6.99) A little pricy but I think its worth it, thousands of radio stations right on your iPhone

15: Madden NFL ‘10 ($9.99) Great iPhone game by EA Sports, one of the best football apps

16: Roadee ($1.99) Open source navigation system app, almost 95% cheaper than the TomTom app, and works almost just as well.

17: Skype (FREE) Skype for the iPhone

18: EchoFon Pro ($4.99) Decent twitter client, nice UI, good features, but doesn’t beat TweetDeck quite yet

19: Flickr (FREE) app where you can take photos and upload them right to flickr

20: ESPN Radio ($2.99) great iPhone app to keep up with all of your sports

21: Barbeque ($0.99)

22: Gangstar ($6.99) great iPhone app, this game much better than payback, definitely worth the $7

23: FIFA ‘10 ($9.99) best soccer game for the iPhone. period.

24: Backbreaker Football ($0.99) simple football app but very fun

25: Photoshop Mobile (FREE) Basic Photoshop on your iPhone

26: PocketTanks Deluxe ($4.99) great game for the iPhone, definitely worth the money.

27: BNO News ($1.99) iPhone app for breaking news. Subscription service $0.99 a month, $4.99 for 6 months

28: 1Password ($4.99) great password storage app

29: Convert ($0.99) Good converter app for the iPhone

30: Dropbox (FREE) Dropbox lets you store files online, this iPhone app lets you view what stuff is in your folder

31: Bloons ($0.99) great game for the iPhone

32: ESPN Scorecenter (FREE) a Decent score app for sports on your iPhone, but I prefer ScoreMobile’s UI better, and scoremobile supports more sports

33: Flowchat ($4.99) A really good IRC client for the iPhone, but Colloquy’s latest update makes Colloquy the better IRC client

34: Colloquy ($1.99)

35: Foursquare (FREE) Currently the only Foursquare app out there, but for those who use foursquare its a really good application.

36: LetMeKnow (FREE) Great Push notification app, subscription service is required though ($1.99 for 1 license)

37: Percent Calculator ($1.99) good app for percent calculations

38: Shrek Kart ($4.99) Cool racing game for the iPhone

39: NetScan ($0.99) Great net scanning iPhone app

40: Police Radio ($0.99) App where you can listen to police station’s activity right from your iPhone

41: Zombie Pizza ($0.99) peculiar game but very fun for the iPhone

42: Skee-Ball ($0.99) entertaining iPhone game

43: RedLaser ($1.99) Cool iPhone app that scans books and finds a better price from other stores.

44: Nike Master Control (FREE) training video app for the iPhone so you can become better at soccer

45: CNN Mobile ($1.99) Great app that gives news and video alerts to your iPhone

46: VoiceChanger ($1.99) Fun app that when you say something it will change the voice to whatever option you’d like

47: Canabalt ($2.99) cool iPhone game

48: Weather Channel Max ($3.99) Great weather app that gives all major features of any kind of weather service.

49: Thirty One ($0.99) Great poker app for the iPhone

50: Sims 3 ($6.99) Sims 3 for the iPhone! Great graphics, and almost identical to the actual sims 3.
