What’s In My Dashboard?

Everyone does Whats In My Dock, and I recently made a video on Whats in my iTunes. Although, not too many people have done a Whats in my Dashboard post. Earlier today, TechnoBuffalo made a Whats in my Dashboard blog post, so I decided to do one myself!

This is in order from most used dashboard applications to least used:

RadarInMotion

I use RadarInMotion pretty much everytime I check into my dashboard. I Check out my local radar, US radar to see what other weather might be heading my way, and just to see what places are getting hit with snow, rain, etc. It shows radars from all over the world so if you don’t live in the US, you can still use this application. The Radars are shown from either Weather.com or from the NOAA. I recommend the weather.com radars since they look nicer.

Stocks

The stocks application in Dashboard from Yahoo! is probably one of the best stock applications i’ve ever seen. This comes with your Mac, so no need to download it off the internet. The use is pretty self explanatory: to track stock prices.

Weather

This also comes with your Mac. There are a ton of alternatives to Weather apps on your Dashboard, but I think this is the best. Very plain, simple, and to the point.

Yay for Snow on Wednesday!!!

SportsFan

If you follow sports, this app is a MUST. This tracks baseball, Hockey, Basketball, and Hockey. You can also put your favorite team and then the background becomes your favorite team’s logo. Pretty cool.

Countdown Calendar

This is just a simple application that keeps track of how many days there is left of something. Pretty nifty if you want to track something that is in a long time and you may forget.
