MSN gets a makeover

About a month ago Microsoft gave you a preview of how the new MSN homepage was going to look like. If you have a Hotmail email account you might of gotten an email from Microsoft called "A new MSN is coming." On that email it just gave you a link to another updated preview from the website "Tourmsn.com" which basically goes over the new features that the homepage will have and how it will look like. Microsoft tried really hard to make the new home page website MSN.com organized and clutter free....

Thoughts on Xbox 360

I have been having my Xbox 360 since December and I have absolutely loved the experience thus far. I have the Xbox 360 Elite with the 120 GB Hard Drive and a subscription to Xbox Live Gold. The first thing that I liked about the Xbox 360, is the nice dashboard. It is easy to navigate through and use. Also, the avatars you can create for your character are a lot better than the Mii’s you can create with the Wii (sorry Nintendo). The Xbox Live marketplace has a good selection of games and avatar a...

Sony Walkman Review

Now, you might be wondering why I am reviewing this particular device. I am doing this so that you are not confined to one MP3 player. You might think that the iPod is the only and the best media player ever but Sony has really buckled down into creating a device as wonderful as this. It has a bright and crisp 3.5 inch screen, and Sony even sells accessories for it in its online store or its Sony Style stores. It has video playback as well, only you have to format it into a specific format, ...

I'm very very sure you are on Facebook, and you are probably on Twitter too. Well I've for long wanted something like this for Facebook. Now I have it! Silverlight 4 Beta Client. This client is amazing. It brings up everything you need right on your fingertips without having to struggle with Facebook's slow loading, weird errors, and co...

1 vs. 100 on Xbox Live

There is a party game that is completely free of charge based on the former 1 vs. 100 show. It has basically the same game rules as the TV show and there is a different primetime game you can play every night. Sometimes there is actually an emcee, Chris Cashman, who talks during some intermissions. The rules of the game are simple, you can either be “The One”, “In the Mob”, or “The Crowd”. Chances are, you are always going to be in the crowd, but you do have a chance to get in “the mob”. If you ...

The wonders of Microsoft

I love Windows 7. So much that for the first time in my life I bought Windows without having it coming with a new computer. I purchased the English version of Windows 7 Ultimate. But when I entered the product key, I got told that the key has expired. I ended up dialing the number for the Microsoft Norway customer support as the manual for Windows said it was free. I then got an automatic message telling me that the lines were down and that I were being redirected to the American Microsoft custo...

Microsoft Security Essentials

There are too many antivirus programs out there, in fact there are more than 500 known malware protection applications. Well there is one that beats them all. Microsoft has since the year 2001  tried to make an efficient protection system for Windows. They started in Windows XP with Windows firewall. This proved to be more annoying than efficient as it blocked every application connecting to the Internet and then ask if it should be allowed to connect, yet it almost had no effect. In 20...
